LinkedIn is a platform primarily used by professionals to network, find jobs, or showcase their skills. It is where people present their resumes and build connections to further their careers. However, Priyanshi Bhatt from Delhi decided to use this platform for a different purpose – not to seek a job for herself, but for her father, who has decades worth of experience in the automobile industry.
In a heartfelt post titled “HIRE MY DAD”, Priyanshi shared her admiration for her father’s unmatched expertise in the automobile sector, particularly in paint shop operations. She described him as a hardworking, loyal, and empathetic leader who has earned the respect of everyone he has worked with – whether they were his peers, mentors, or juniors. Her words painted a picture of a man who gave his all to his work, even during challenging times.
“My father has 30-40 years of wide experience in the Automobile industry, particularly, the Paint shop segment. He has served as a Manager, Plant Head, Director & CEO with companies like Swaraj Mazda, Maruti Joint Venture, Alfa Cotec industry, KD industries etc,” she wrote.
She added that many of his trainees from decades ago continued to follow him across companies, seeking his mentorship. The post also shed light on the struggles her father has been facing at his current job. According to Priyanshi, the organization has been dealing with financial instability, and her father hasn’t received his full salary for over a year.
Despite this, he remained committed, working extra hours and even on Sundays. But with a family to support, he finally decided it was time for a change.
“But since my Father also has to look into his own needs, & has a house & a family to run, therefore, after too much of our persistent advice, he has decided to opt out from his current organisation & is looking for a stable and decent job opportunity in the Automobile sector (Paint shop),” she added.
“My father is the best candidate any organization can hire, so please do not miss out on this opportunity,” she wrote.
