Changing your name to something ridiculous seems like something only Phoebe Buffay can do. However, you’d be surprised to know that there are people in this world who, like the fictional character, don’t mind embarrassing themselves!

I say this because one woman in West Bengal, initially named Anamika Mazumder, changed her name to ‘Supreme Imperium’ and let the entire country know getting it announced in the newspaper!
According to The Indian Express, an affidavit was posted in a newspaper as per which the woman, who lives in East Midnapur district, shall be known as ‘Supreme Imperium’ this month forward. A picture of the column is being circulated widely on social media. Have a look:

People online were left utterly confused! While many wanted to know the reason behind her changing her name, others cooked up their own theories. Here’s what some of them said:
Now, while disbursing loan bank will either issue cheque/PO or directly NEFT/RTGS in Supreme's name. Guess what, after changing her name, she can open he SB in Supreme Imperium, and then encash the cheque/PO or receive NEFT/RTGS in her own account.
