It’s true that financial stability plays a big role in marriages, and yes, some people do marry for money. But there’s a common misconception that men are only valued as long as they can provide.

For example, a man took to Twitter to suggest men that they take a 21-day leave from work and go home and tell their wives that they lost their jobs. This is to see how women react and treat their husbands after learning about the news. While this might be eye-opening in some cases, the assumption that a woman’s love is conditional upon money isn’t always fair.
Dear men,
Take your 21 days leave from work.
Go home and tell your woman that you lost your job. Explain further that there was some loss and you had use your savings to settle.Spend the next day 14 days observing how you are treated at home and discover who you married.

Kapoor’s tweet sparked mixed reactions, but many men came forward to share stories that contradict this belief. Several men opened up about how their wives supported them emotionally, and even financially when they were out of work.
On the other hand, women also jumped into the conversation, sharing stories of how they became the breadwinners when their husbands faced job loss. Have a look:
After seeing my Work pressure, my wife is saying me to resign and be relax atleast for somedays. All women are not same.

Well if the woman you chose to be in your life only because of your money, then it must happen.
However, I have seen my mother toil so much for my dad when he was diagnosed with cancer. My mom who would puke at the faint smell of poop had cleaned my dad when the nurses were on…— ????? (kisi ka Bhai kisika Mamujaan) (@Polaapaan) October 3, 2024

If my man goes thru this, i will wholeheartedly support him mentally & financially. Don’t forget, some women are raised by strong fathers…Who have taught their daughters how to deal with such situations..who have also seen lot in their life, still know to keep their family happy

My husband was unemployed, not just for 21 days, but for year, so stop this demonising of women.
80% of the mails who work in Mumbai, their husbands sit at home and only booze, even after taking home money, they get beaten and money snatched

I did this for three years in a row. She stood like a rock with me, never let me break, not even once. Because of her, even my parents never realized i’m without work. Can’t thank enough to her.

I supported my husband at one such occasion. It’s ok once in a while if spouse resigns and takes a break.

It won’t be a big deal even if my husband chose to take a break, and explore something for a few years. My income is good to support us and our family.
