When an animal falls sick, the sad reality is that most people turn away. Some are abandoned on the streets, others are left to suffer in silence. Many believe it’s “just an animal” and not worth the trouble. But every now and then, we come across stories that restore our faith in humanity.
One such heartwarming moment unfolded in the remote village of Kyari, Sirmaur district, Himachal Pradesh, where two brothers did something extraordinary for their ailing cow.
According to Times Now, the animal, weighing nearly 200 kilos, had fallen seriously ill and needed urgent medical care. With no vehicle or proper road access, the brothers knew waiting for help could cost her life. So, without hesitation, they tied ropes around her, hoisted her onto their backs, and began a 3 km trek through steep, slippery mountain terrain.
The journey was anything but easy. Every step meant battling uneven paths, loose stones, and treacherous slopes. But through it all, the brothers held on, their only goal being to get her to the hospital in time. And they did.
