Telangana Bus Driver Looks After Baby Girl While Mother Attends To Personal Needs

Helping one person might not change the whole world, but it could change the world for that one person.”

Acts of kindness are deeply rooted in Indian culture, where strangers often go out of their way to help one another. It’s not unusual to see people offering food, directions, or even a helping hand to those in need.

Recently, a heartwarming incident involving a Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (RTC) bus driver captured this spirit of helpfulness. Ponnam Prabhakar, Telangana’s Minister for Transport and BC Welfare, shared a touching story on X about a bus driver from Manuguru RTC Depot.

The driver was on a Hyderabad-bound route when a female passenger had to momentarily step out of the bus at the Suryapet bus stand for “personal needs”, leaving behind her baby girl. With no one to look after the child, the driver took the baby in his arms, gently ensuring her safety until the mother returned.

This thoughtful gesture not only reassured the mother but also left the onlookers and people online deeply moved. They showered the driver with immense love and respect because let’s face it – most parents would hesitate to trust strangers with their children. But this man is one of the many everyday heroes who make our world a kinder place.
