Soan Papdi, Who? Reliance Foundation’s Diwali Hampers Are Setting New Standards

During Diwali season, most companies play a familiar game: soan papdi gifting. Yes, the humble, yellow-boxed sweet that’s as famous for making its way around the neighbourhood as it is for collecting dust in the cupboard. For the average employee, Diwali gifts usually mean recycled sweets or a dry fruit box, if they’re lucky.

But this year, Reliance Foundation stepped up the game, making their employees feel like Diwali royalty. Forget soan papdi – they’re getting hampers that could make the rest of us jealous!

Recently, RJ Rajas Jain from Radio City Kannada shared a video on Instagram. His surprise? A Diwali hamper from Reliance Foundation, carefully curated by none other than Nita Ambani herself. No mystery sweets in sight, this box was filled with thoughtful items like a linen tablecloth, earthen lamps crafted by specially-abled artisans, and even a silver Ganesha idol. Who knew a Diwali gift box could make people feel so fancy?

Adding to the charm, Reliance included an artisan’s story with each handcrafted item, which took things to the next level. Not only did they send gifts, but they also made the recipients feel like they were contributing to a noble cause, reported Mint.
