The video shows a group of locals accusing Raveena and her driver of assaulting three women. Raveena can be heard pleading, “Please don’t hit me,” after she was being pushed as she exited her car. The man in the video asserted that the actress appeared to be drunk and began attacking the women after getting out of her car.
Listen carefully. Samuday Vishesh mob which tried to lynch Raveena is English speaking. No amount of education can cure Jihadism. pic.twitter.com/R5xba8IN4Y

However, CCTV footage of the incident shows another side to the story.
Raveena Tandon was returning to her Bandra home in the car, which was being driven by her driver. CCTV footage shows how the driver was reversing the car while manoeuvring it into her home. There was a group of women near the car. The vehicle didn’t hit any of them. The women apparently asked the driver to be careful because he could have hit someone. This apparently led to a verbal spat, reported TOI.
It is clearly visible in the CCTV that actress Raveena Tandon’s car did not hit any woman.

“The complainant gave a false complaint in the alleged video. We checked the entire CCTV footage of the society and found that the actress’ driver was reversing the car from the road into the society when this family was crossing the same lane. The family stopped the car and told the driver that he should check if people were behind the car before reversing and an argument started between them,” said DCP Rajtilak Roshan of Zone 9, quoted Times Now.
According to India TV, both parties visited the Khar police station and submitted written statements asserting no grievances against each other. Raveena Tandon was not in a drunken state, revealed the police, and only wanted to protect the driver from the mob.
