The nepotism debate which started on ‘Koffee with Karan’ between Kangana and Karan Johar (somewhat Saif too) has gone so far, that it’s almost impossible to go back and trace all the remarks they have made on each other. But the recent development of the story has been in news lately, after Karan Johar, Saif Ali Khan and Varun Dhawan mocked Kangana at IIFA 2017 by chanting ‘Nepotism Rocks’.
After that incident, Apurva Asrani, who was in controversy for sharing credits in Kangana’s upcoming film ‘Simran’ as a writer, has also joined the anti-Kangana bandwagon.
He recently tweeted accusing Kangana of practicing nepotism for helping her sister and brother in the industry.
I hired my brother as addnl writer on my new film. #Kangana hired her sister as manager & now promotes her brother. All guilty of #nepotism?

Rangoli Chandel, who is Kangana’s sister and her manager, defended Kangana with a series of tweets.
@Apurvasrani acid dsn’t kill you it just distorts your face in a way that wherever you go people’s jaw drops in a very sad way.

Rangoli, who has been an acid attack survivor, mentioned how Kangana helped her get back on her feet and gain her confidence back.
@Apurvasrani Kangana nt only got my treatment done but saw to it that I gained my confidence back, she held my hand and took me to the sets.

She was also not happy about Apurva dragging their brother into this.
@Apurvasrani I am her sister and i am with her in that capacity, my brother is a pilot and don’t you dare to bring him in to this.

She didn’t leave any stone unturned.
@Apurvasrani You are after your 5 mins fame which you don’t deserve so please calm down and Relax.
— Rangoli Chandel (@Rangoli_A) July 19, 2017
And proved that she has worked hard to reach where she is today.
@Apurvasrani I m topper in M.Sc microbiology I didn’t loose my degree after the attack but I lost my confidence and started to wear veil .

And concluded with differentiating between caring for family and nepotism.
Drinking cofe n watching flms with your own little brthr is nt nepotism u emotionally illitrate persn.Thts cald Love .#sigh which u lack .

Another chapter added to the ‘nepotism debate’ book. Do you agree with Apurva’s stance, or you support Rangoli in this debate? Let us know in the comments.
