2020 was not just the year of experimental cooking. Several luxury brands, in the bid to create unique and out-of-the-box pieces, got way too experimental and came up with clothes that weren’t practical enough to be used by normal people like us.
And after expensive ‘Potato Sack Pants’, ‘Latex Balloon-Pants’, ‘Arm Warmers’ among others, Prada, an Italian luxury fashion house came up with sweaters with holes on them.
Ruining the entire purpose of a sweater, the company launched ‘Openwork viscose turtleneck sweater’ with ‘decorative holes’ as their Spring Summer 2021 collection, reported Hindustan Times.

Moreover, if you bought this piece, it would burn a huge hole in your pockets as it is priced at £905 (Rs 90347 approx.).

According to the product description, this one-of-a-kind sweater that comes in three different colors has ‘precious openwork motif with placed holes.’
However creatively they have tried to describe the product, people online weren’t impressed by it. This is how they reacted:
Hey @MackayIM. This will go well with your cheese diagram.
The devil wears Gouda! Prada jumper that costs £905 looks like holey cheese https://t.co/bUNFSGVp0C

Talk about ugly. Prada giving a bad name to cheese, as if cheese wasn’t one of the most important models in this pandemic. pic.twitter.com/7EHRG43iEb

Probably the holes are for ventilation in case you feel too hot while wearing them. What do we know!
