The prices of fuel in the country are updated every day and the ever-increasing retail rates have become a massive concern for people from all walks of life.
According to NDTV, the price of petrol in Delhi was increased by 25 paise from Rs 85.20 to Rs 85.45 today, January 22, with an equal price hike of diesel from Rs 75.38 to Rs 75.63 per litre. However, Mumbaikars have to spend some more money as the fuel rates have reached a new high. The revised petrol and diesel prices in Mumbai were Rs 92.04 and Rs 82.40 per litre respectively.
This skyrocketing fuel prices have irked several consumers and obviously for all the right reasons. Hence, some of them took to Twitter to express their discontent. Others gave it the meme treatment.

Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata saw an upward trend in the fuel prices with both petrol and diesel prices touching their an all-time high, reported Economic Times. This, especially at a time when people are left unemployed due to the ongoing pandemic, is adding to the burden.
