Sharing ‘your’ nudes with your partner is no big deal these days. But sharing someone else’s nudes with your partner sounds as creepy as criminal! A nurse has been charged with over 30 charges for clicking nude photos of elderly patients and sending them to her boyfriend.
The 30-year-old nurse identified as Ashley Ann Smith from Dravosburg worked at Pennsylvania care home. She had sent over 20 pictures of around 17 vulnerable elderly patients some of which were nude to her lover, reports Daily Mail.
Not just adults but the woman also clicked pictures of some children and hence was also charged with child pornography. The photos were sent between May 2017 and August 2018.
As per the reports, Ashley took the pictures at Kane McKeesport Community Living Center, an Allegheny County nursing home. She used to send these photos to Ron Whittaker, her boyfriend. Ron himself eventually reported her to the police and therefore he isn’t facing any charges.
He was, however, held by police in October last year for allegedly assaulting Ashley. The photos taken by her show elderly patients in the care home ‘in need of immediate care and private situations,’ the complaint read. A video of a nude patient undergoing some medical procedures was also found on her phone during investigation.
The incident has come as a shock to many. After all, who expects such heinous crime from a nurse, who is a caretaker at the hospital! Hope she is taught a good lesson by the cops soon.
