In an age where weddings feel more like social media content strategies than intimate celebrations, Neeraj Chopra did the unthinkable – he got married in private, without a flashy pre-wedding shoot, an over-the-top Instagram reel, or a 10-slide “How We Met” post. And honestly, we respect him even more for it.

On January 19, Neeraj Chopra, India’s golden boy and two-time Olympic medalist, announced his marriage to Himani Mor, a former tennis player, in the most low-key way possible. He posted a few pictures from the intimate ceremony, captioned simply: “Started a new chapter of life with my family. Grateful for every blessing that brought us to this moment together. Bound by love, happily ever after.”
That’s it. No overdone metaphors, no PR-approved captions, just a straightforward, heartfelt message.
Neeraj and Himani tied the knot in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, with only 40-50 close family members in attendance, reported India Today. There were no leaked wedding videos, no paparazzi-flooded venues, and certainly no viral dance performances choreographed weeks in advance.
In a time when even non-celebrities meticulously plan their wedding content for Instagram, complete with drone shots, slow-motion twirls, and cinematic montages, Neeraj Chopra reminded us what a wedding is actually about: two people committing to each other in the presence of their loved ones.
Amazed that an Olympic Gold Medalist got married without one centigram of bullshit PR and fake reels. Many congratulations to Neeraj & Himani ♥️ pic.twitter.com/ul0PLcfZn4

Neeraj is class apart, reason why he is Olympic gold medalist and world champion.
Many congratulations to both of them.

True class needs no showmanship. Wishing Neeraj and Himani a lifetime of happiness and love. ♥️ Some moments are best cherished in their purest form.

Neeraj Chopra just proved that if you truly value privacy, you can have it. A whole wedding, no media circus. Meanwhile, some others call for ‘privacy’ while staging their every move for the cameras. Quiet dignity vs orchestrated drama – it’s all about choices.

Neeraj Chopra got married without any media attention or hype. I think most people only found out after he posted about it himself.
This “not craving attention, focusing on the game instead of politics or cheap PR,” is what makes him different from others.

At a time when celebrities sell even their marriage footages or take money from brands to advertise their products in their wedding.
Man got married silently without any media hype or PR campaign. Neeraj Chopra is the perfect role model of youth in India. GOAT 🫡 pic.twitter.com/cXVfftope5

Neeraj Chopra deserves our attention, affection and admiration simply because he doesn’t go out of his way to do things just to seek our attention, affection and admiration. pic.twitter.com/wDmT5M7wWh

And for that, we say, “Stan this man forever.”
