Mumbai Guy Goes From Working As Food Delivery Executive To Walking Ramps As A Model

Sahil Singh, a young man from Mumbai, is an inspiring example of how dreams can come true with hard work and determination. From delivering food as a Swiggy agent to walking the ramp as a professional model, Sahil’s story is one for the history books.

Sahil’s journey wasn’t easy. After dropping out of school, he took up many odd jobs to support himself. According to NDTV, he worked as a Swiggy delivery agent for two years, making around Rs 18,000 to Rs 22,000 a month. He then worked as a chef at Burger King for a year and spent eight months at Mango Mart. But even while working these jobs, Sahil never lost sight of his real dream – becoming a model.

His passion for modelling began in 2009, when he saw a poster of a model. At the time, he was selling wallets on the roadside, but the poster inspired him to imagine a different future. His first experience in modelling came in 2012, when he participated in a fashion show at school. However, it wasn’t until 2017 that he started seriously working towards breaking into the fashion industry.

Sahil spent years learning about the industry, auditioning, and building connections. He faced many rejections and went through nearly 200 auditions before he got his big break. In 2023, he was finally selected by Streax to walk the ramp.

Despite challenges like being shorter than the typical model at 5 feet 10 inches, Sahil’s persistence paid off. He even convinced Streax to let him walk the ramp by agreeing to wear heels, reported Hindustan Times.

Today, Sahil uses his experience to guide others who dream of modelling. He shares grooming and styling tips on his Instagram and offers advice on how to network with photographers, stylists, and designers to get noticed.

His journey from delivery boy to model is a reminder that no dream is too big if you’re willing to fight for it.
