MS Dhoni’s Smile When Imran Tahir Asked For A Review Is Winning Over The Internet

Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s impeccable decision-making skills have seen him master the Decision Review System (DRS) in cricket. He is usually so spot on with his calls for inspection that people have renamed the DRS as the Dhoni Review System!

This brings us to a rather interesting and beautiful moment that took place between the IPL encounter between the Chennai Super Kings and the Kolkata Knight Riders on Tuesday.

In the 15th over of KKR’s innings, South African leggie Imran Tahir trapped the in-form Andre Russel on the pads. Though the decision went against the dramatic bowler, Tahir believed that Russell was gone for good. He sprinted towards his skipper MS Dhoni in a bid to convince him to go upstairs for the review.

As cool as ever, MS Dhoni’s reaction was pure gold. He had a cheeky but broad smile on his face as he gestured for the delivery to be reviewed.

Unfortunately for Tahir, the ball was actually missing the stumps and the decision went in favor of Andre Russell again. Which means, CSK lost a review!

The incident got Twitter hailing Mahi as the undisputed king of DRS all over again! But most importantly, people were in awe of the legendary skipper’s smile when Tahir asked for the review.
