If you think that summer vacation is for kids to enjoy their holidays, then you are wrong. Summer vacations are for kids to finish the long list of holiday homework that is given by their school teachers. It is for the elaborate projects, artwork and 200 math problems that need solving in a separate homework copy. However, it is not only the kids who suffer because of excessive homework, the parents suffer too! More often than not, you will find at least one parent engrossed in finishing their kid’s school projects!
As a result, one tired parent posted a video on social media urging schools to only give the kind of holiday homework that kids can do themselves and finish easily. She went on to explain that while her child is playing, she is the one having to finish the projects because there are too many!

A lot of people online empathized with the woman. Many, who are in the same boat, shared how schools often end up assigning very difficult projects to young kids, which they are unable to do themselves. Do the kids enjoy their holidays or spend all their time doing projects – this was a question that was raised. On top of that, it is difficult for working parents to find the time to engage in such projects with their children.

this problem is real. The 4th standard girl in my neighborhood has got homework to make a PPT presentation about Generations of Computer. And the school assumed that all the 200-300 students of 4th Standard have a Computer at home and know how to use PPT. I am making her project.

True, This is the story of most Indian homes where parents &kids are pushed for projects most which hardly add any value .The stress of this with studies is too much and kids have become a prisoner to the school diktats.The E.reforms shud be pushed fast to reduce these burdens.
