Woman IPS Officer In UP Breaks Down After BJP MLA Yells ‘Don’t Cross Limits’ Mid-road!

An IPS officer, Charu Nigam was left teary-eyed after an argument with a veteran BJP lawmaker in Gorakhpur. The heated spat resulted when a group of women blocked a road near the Koilhwa village and got into a scuffle with the local police. The mob was alleging that the police and the administration are helping the sale of illicit liquor in the area. It was then when BJP MLA, Dr Radha Mohan Das Agarwal arrived and the situation only worsened.

In this video uploaded by ANI UP, the minister can be heard yelling, wagging his finger aggressively. 

“Main aapse baat nahin kar raha hoon… mujhe tum kuch na batao. Chup raho tum! Bardasht ke bahar mat jao. (I am not speaking to you. Don’t tell me anything. You keep quiet. Don’t cross your limits)”

“I am the officer in charge here. I know what I am doing,” said the officer but it fell on deaf-ears. Soon, a senior officer took charge while Ms Nigam can be seen wiping tears with a kerchief. Although the allegations are yet to be cleared out, is this how we treat our lady police officers?!
