“Life is a continuous learning process.” And, while our own experiences teach us valuable life lessons, it’s always helpful to get friendly advice from elders. For instance, I am so grateful that my father taught me the importance of saving early on in life.

Speaking of which, a person took to Reddit and asked people what’s the most common mistake made by young adults. Many individuals not only pointed out the mistakes but also shared some valuable advice they had learned over the years.

From advising kids to live life to the fullest to teaching them about savings, have a look at these helpful pieces of advice:
1. Feeling that they are alone
2. Not enjoying life to the fullestÂ
3. Assuming they are invulnerableÂ
4. Blindly conforming to other people’s expectationÂ

5. Overthinking about thingsÂ
6. Not taking good care of teethÂ
7. Being unreasonably strict over everythingÂ
8. Not taking enough risksÂ
9. Trying too hard to be coolÂ

10. Not saving moneyÂ
11. Refusing to take advice from experienced peopleÂ
12. Being in toxic relationsÂ
13. Blindly believing everything they are toldÂ
14. Unrealistic lifestyle
These are some solid life advice that I wish someone had pointed out when I was younger. What is a valuable lesson in life that you have learned over the years? Tell us.
