If there’s anyone who is Hollywood royalty, it’s Meryl Streep. The three-time Oscar winner is insanely versatile and is the best thing that has ever happened to movies. Be it her unmatched performance as Miranda Priestly in ‘Devil Wears Prada’, or her perfect portrayal of Margaret Thatcher in The Iron Lady; Meryl is too humble for a body of work like that!
Apart from having swept away every award there is for acting, the highly-acclaimed actress is also a favourite with critics. It doesn’t stop at that. She is responsible for breaking every stereotype about female leads and has paved the way for contemporaries of her generation and beyond.
