25-year-old Himani Mor is a talented tennis player from Sonipat, Haryana. She completed her schooling at Little Angels School before moving on to Delhi’s prestigious Miranda House, where she studied Political Science and Physical Education.
Her passion for sports led her to Franklin Pierce University in New Hampshire, USA, where she is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Sports Management, reported NDTV.

Himani has an impressive tennis career. She participated in the 2017 World University Games in Taipei and even won a gold medal at the World Junior Tennis Championship in Malaysia in 2016.
According to the All India Tennis Association, her highest national ranking in singles was 42, and in doubles, it was 27. She also worked as an assistant coach at Amherst College in Massachusetts while continuing her studies.

It turns out that Neeraj and Himani’s love story began in the United States. According to Neeraj’s uncle, Surendra Chopra, the two met there, fell in love, and eventually gained approval from both families. The couple wanted to keep the affair low-key, ensuring no media attention. Guests were prohibited from using mobile phones during the ceremony to maintain complete privacy.
Himani embraced Neeraj’s traditions wholeheartedly, even visiting his village and staying for 14 hours to take part in pre-wedding rituals. Neeraj Chopra refused any dowry from Himani’s family. Instead, he accepted just one rupee as a token of love and good luck.
