Man Uses AI-Powered Bot To Apply For 1,000 Jobs While He Sleeps, He Bags 50 Interviews

In a world where technology is rapidly making our lives easier, people are finding creative ways to use AI for everyday tasks – from writing essays to creating art, and now, even job hunting.

One man took it to the next level by using AI to apply for 1,000 jobs while he slept. He took to Reddit’s r/GetEmployeed subreddit to share the incident.

The man explained how he built an AI-powered bot to handle the tedious job application process. The bot analyzed his skills, scanned job descriptions, and generated unique CVs and cover letters tailored for each role. It even answered recruiter-specific questions and sent out applications autonomously.

Over a month, this strategy earned him 50 interviews, all while he enjoyed his sleep.

Reflecting on his success, the man admitted that while his method was effective, it raised important questions about the future of work.

“While efficient, the automation of job applications raises questions about the very nature of professional relationships. We face a paradox: as we seek to optimize the selection process, we risk losing the human element that often makes a difference in a work environment,” he wrote.
