We have all had messaging/email blunders where we sent the wrong text to the wrong person and regretted it. However, I doubt how many of us have managed to mail thousands of people across the country “accidentally”. That’s just something that exclusively happened to one TV anchor!
According to a report by The Washington Post, TV anchor Nick Vason, who works for Nexstar Media Group, accidentally sent all employees of his company an email calling in sick from work. What came next is thousands of responses from employees asking him to get well soon. So much so, that a shrine was made on his desk with flowers and candles!

His company alone has 200 stations, and his mail reached every single employee from all those stations. So imagine the number of responses he might have gotten!
Nick revealed that his company had recently switched email addresses. Previously when he had to reach his manager, he just typed “news@” and the required suggestion would pop up. Now, after the addresses changed, the same “news@” redirected him to a different address, which he didn’t notice. And he ended up mailing the entire company!

Employees from across all the stations started sending candles, framed portraits, cards, flowers, a stuffed Snoopy doll and a bobblehead of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes which were decorated on his work desk. If that wasn’t enough, #PrayersForNick started to trend on Twitter as everyone started posting get well soon messages!

Good news, a New Orleans-based company made a candle for us. You can't have a vigil without a candle. #PrayersForNick pic.twitter.com/7Qkud9koTB
