Ever since they were founded in 1999, Khalsa Aid, an NGO predominantly run by Sikhs, has been well known to provide relief assistance to victims of war, natural disasters, and other tragic events across the world.

Khalsa Aid has been actively helping Syrian refugees since they fled to neighbouring countries after the civil war escalated in Syria.
The NGO has been carrying out relief operations in the refugee-clad countries, Lebanon being one of them, providing them with food and everyday supplies, clothes, medical aid, etc.

Recently, a video was taking rounds in social media in which Khalsa Aid coordinator Bharpur Singh broke into a fun-filled bhangra session to Arabic music at a refugee camp in Lebanon along with local coordinators.
