The fashion world is a bizarre place filled with glaring innovations. From meme-couture to the world’s tiniest handbags, designers are always pushing the envelope to come up with unique creations. And, while they manage to surprise the world with their experimental pieces, these over-the-top dresses seem like an impractical choice for daily wear.
And one such quirky collection is the larger-than-life inflatable trousers by designer Harikrishnan. The Indian menswear designer created the set for his graduate collection at the London College of Fashion, reports India Today. The exclusive collection features unusual pants that look like inflated balloons. Paired with tailored blazers and jackets, the exaggerated trousers are made with latex.
Have a look at Harikrishnan’s intriguing collection:
It’s a popping collection you all:
Harikrishnan’s brainchild, this collection was inspired by his pet dog. “I got the idea when I was playing with my dog and I started thinking about how exaggerated objects must look from such a low angle,” he was quoted saying.
The pumping trousers that seem to fit well on the waist, appear like a billowing balloon structure that are cinched at the anklets. While it’s an unusual concept, it reminded us of Aladdin’s costume.

In fact, people on the internet also felt the same as they compared the quirky collection with Aladdin’s outfit. Have a look at some of the hilarious comments posted online:

Many people also joked about popping the ‘balloon pants’:
And one rowdy kid with a pen will cause you to have to go out and buy another pair of these.
