The city of Hyderabad underwent severe floods after heavy rainfall (10-12 cm) recently. According to NDTV, low-lying areas across the state suffered immensely as rainwater entered several people’s homes. Â Two people have been reported missing after they were swept away by the strong currents.

A total of 8 flights were reported to be diverted to nearby cities – 6 to Bengaluru and 1 each to Vijayawada and Chennai.
