Among the prettiest of celestial events visible to the naked eye is the glorious pink supermoon. It graced the skies on April 27 and 28 of 2021; however, it is the first of two supermoons that shall be seen this year, reports IE.
If you missed the last one, fret not for the next supermoon shall be seen on May 26. It is slated to be the closest supermoon of 2021 as it shall be 357,463km (222,117 miles) away from Earth.

A super moon is essentially a full moon that is also known as the Sprouting Grass Moon or Egg Moon. This pink moon is said to appear bigger and brighter when it is closest to our planet.
