Dolly Chaiwala Charges Approx ₹6 Lakh For Appearance, Wants 5-Star Hotel Stay, Reveals Vlogger

Dolly Chaiwala, a tea seller from Nagpur, has become a sensation on social media, attracting millions of followers with his quirky antics and love for making chai. His tea stall, ‘Dolly Ki Tapri’, has become a popular spot, drawing tourists and brands alike. Dolly’s fame skyrocketed after Bill Gates posted a video of him making tea, and since then, he has been approached by various brands and content creators for collaborations. As of today, Dolly Chaiwala has 4.2 million followers on Instagram.

However, inviting Dolly Chaiwala for appearances comes with a hefty price tag. Recently, a popular food blogger, known as AK Food Vlog, shared his experience of trying to invite Dolly to Kuwait for a show. He revealed that Dolly charges around 2,000 to 2,500 Kuwaiti Dinars (KD) for a one-day appearance. This amount translates to approximately Rs 6 lakh.

“I happened to call Dolly Chaiwala because I wanted to call him to Kuwait. But the guy has so many demands and I started just questioning my whole existence,” he said.

But that’s not all. Dolly’s demands also include bringing along one additional person, staying in a 4 or 5-star hotel, and more. The food blogger was surprised by the high costs and demands, which he felt were a bit too much for a tea seller.

“He wasn’t talking to me, his manager was talking to me…. And this is for one day,” he revealed.

However, several people were quick to take Dolly’s side and highlighted how he is a self-made man, who relied on his quirky chai-making antics alone to make him famous. Now that he has a loyal fanbase, it is completely justified for him to set his own price. Have a look:

Social media is a great leveller. It’s honestly so refreshing to see someone like Dolly Chaiwala get a luxurious shot at life because of the internet!
