Delhi Woman Takes The Wheel After Uber Driver Falls Ill, Urges People To Learn Driving

Gone are the days when driving was considered just another skill you could choose to learn or skip. In today’s world, where emergencies can strike at any moment, knowing how to drive can be a lifesaver. Whether it’s rushing someone to the hospital, getting out of an unsafe situation, or simply stepping up when required, the ability to drive is more than just a convenience – it’s an essential life skill.

Recently, a woman from Delhi found herself in an unexpected situation when her Uber driver fell sick mid-journey. Instead of panicking, she took charge of the situation and drove the vehicle herself, ensuring that her family reached their destination safely.

The woman, who was travelling with her little daughter, grandmother, and mother, shared the clip on Instagram, urging people to be prepared for the unexpected.

“My message to you all is please learn to drive for situations like these,” she said.

Many praised her presence of mind and quick thinking, while others raised concerns about what a person should do if they don’t know how to drive. For those who find themselves in such a situation without driving skills, there are still a few things that can be done, like booking another cab immediately, switching places with another driver who knows how to drive, or reaching out to passersby or fellow drivers for help.

While we may not always anticipate emergencies, we can certainly prepare for them.
