If gulab jamun pizza, milk Maggi, and Kurkure milkshake weren’t enough to irk your soul and stomach, a 5-star-hotel in Chandigarh has come up with another gut-wrenching dish!
I understand fusion food is in, but mix and match of flavors that are far-far away from each other is a sin. Most of us love dal makhani and coffee (separately, of course). But JW Marriot, Chandigarh is trying to put on your plate a blend of these two favorites, reports Times Now.

So they are serving Dal Makhani Cappuccino which is described as ‘a soup with steamed foam over it’. Though the description doesn’t make clear if the foam on the dish actually contains coffee, we hope it doesn’t!

Talking about trying his hand at creative blends, chef Hussain who masters in Mughlai and Hyderabadi cuisines told India Today,
“To kick-start my gastronomic journey in Chandigarh, I wanted to introduce the recipes that are the closest to my heart. Hyderabadi Biryani, for instance, is not just a recipe but it is a complete sensory experience for anyone who has tasted its original form. The same goes for authentic delights like Nihari or Galouti.”
Though the chef hasn’t yet experimented with Biryani, his creative take on dal makhani has failed to impress desi Twitter even without having a bite of it.
