IIT Bombay Gets An Unexpected Guest: A Giant Crocodile Casually Strolls Down Powai Campus Road

Imagine walking down a quiet road late at night, lost in deep thoughts about assignments, work deadlines, or whether to get vada pav or Maggi from the canteen. Now, imagine looking up and seeing a GIANT CROCODILE casually waddling down the same road like it owns the place. That’s exactly what happened at IIT Bombay’s Powai campus recently, and the internet is losing its mind over it!

A viral video shows the crocodile making its way from Powai Lake to the campus road, leaving bystanders, including a visibly stunned police officer, absolutely shell-shocked. The crocodile, unbothered by the attention, seemed to be on a late-night stroll.

Pawan Sharma from RAWW (Resqink Association for Wildlife Welfare) suggested that the croc was likely a female searching for a nesting place. Meanwhile, the Mumbai Range of the Thane Territorial Wing has stepped in to monitor the situation, advising people to remain calm and avoid getting too close, reported Indian Express.
