Imagine entering a shop and finding a cow casually chilling inside. What would you do? Run for your life and never enter the shop or go inside and pet the adorable cow? Well, for the customers of this Andhra Pradesh store, it’s usually the latter!
According to a report by News18, a stray cow visits Sairam Showroom, a local cloth store, every day and rests under the fan for 2-3 hours. It neither disturbs the shop owners nor intimidates the customers. It just rests for a good few hours and goes away when it’s done.

“It comes every day and sits under the fan. But if we shut off the fan, it simply walks away. It has never troubled any customer, urinated or soiled the white mattress that covers the floor. It relieves itself only after leaving the store,” said the shop owner.

This has been happening for the past 6 months. One summer afternoon, the cow randomly entered the store and sat on the mattress. The customers were panic struck and the owners tried shoo-ing it away. But now, things are very different.
According to another report by Deccan Herald, customers now enquire about the “Cow Shop”, which has now become a popular name. In fact, women come to the store and offer turmeric, vermillion, and bananas to the cow!

The owner has seen his business getting better ever since the cow visits the store. He plans on making the cow the shop’s mascot.
