When most companies turn a year older, they cut a cake, give a speech, and maybe share a few throwback pictures. But Agilisium, a Chennai-based tech firm, decided to do something unforgettable on its 10th anniversary – it gifted 25 brand-new Hyundai Creta SUVs to its longest-serving employees, reported India Today.
The data and life sciences company, headquartered at the World Trade Centre in Chennai, surprised its employees in the grandest way possible. Those who had been with Agilisium since its inception were honoured with shiny new cars, each with their name proudly displayed on the number plate. The gesture was kept under wraps until the big reveal, where over 500 people had gathered for an emotional and unforgettable celebration, including their families.
While Agilisium was busy handing over keys and bringing tears of joy to its loyal team, the internet was busy doing what it does best — roasting its own employers. Soon after the news went viral, people online started sharing hilarious comparisons, joking about how their own companies would barely offer a proper coffee after 6 PM, let alone a car.
