Don’t believe us? Just take a look at the posters of three recent (or upcoming) romantic films – Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan, Dhadak 2, and Saiyaara. All three feature the lead couple… you guessed it… in the exact same pose. Girl lovingly holding the guy’s face? Check. Eyes closed or intensely gazing? Check. Foreheads almost touching like they’re doing a couple’s yoga pose? Big fat check.
People online have noticed this too and are cracking jokes like “Ctrl C + Ctrl V”. Honestly, they’re not wrong. With identical colour palettes, similar typography, and expressions that scream “Instagram soft launch”, these posters are starting to feel like template number 3 on a Canva romance drama toolkit.
