Bhopal based businessman Ramnik Sharma married Bobby Darling in a dreamy affair and for what it looked like, life took a fairy tale turn for Bobby. But it wasn’t anything like a dream sequence. According to Bobby, she was in hell.

Bobby Darling ran away from her father-in law’s house in Bhopal to seek protection in her mayka in Delhi. She filed an FIR in Delhi against husband and pressed charges of domestic violence, unnatural sex, and dowry harassment. She said,

“He had paid the building’s security guards to keep an eye on me, and they would inform him of all my moves. He kept a tab on who I spoke with and where I went.”

In an interview with Bombay Times, Bobby also said that Ramnik brought an SUV using her money and now she is left with nothing. She also said that she tried to convince him to get a divorce but that only made the conditions worse.

Bobby said that she wanted to get all her money after the divorce and go live a peaceful life in Mumbai as she was not happy living in Bhopal.

Opening about the horrendous torture that she faced at the hands of her husband, she said,

“I have faced a lot of domestic violence. I still can’t move my left hand freely and limp while walking. My speech is also slurred. I would cry like a child and pee in my clothes while pleading with him to stop hitting me.”

She also revealed that she plotted with a cab driver to let her out of the torture. When Ramnik had gone out for some work, she booked a cab and fled to the airport. Sacred that Ramnik would find her, she said,

“I spent eight hours in the airport washroom. I also switched off my phone so that my whereabouts couldn’t be traced.”

When Times of India reached Ramnik for a comment, he said that Bobby is lying about everything. He said that it’s Bobby who is after his money and she’s fled with his property papers, money, and gold. Talking about his side of the story, he said,

He also continued that she’s not ‘bechari’ and ‘wouldn’t take domestic abuse lying low’. He claimed that he has proofs of everything and isn’t lying.

This comes as a shock because, for a year, Bobby has always presented a rosy image of her marriage to the media.

Bobby has been called to Bhopal to register an FIR against Ramnik.
