The ‘Bin Bag Vacuum Challenge’ Is A Dangerous Social Media Trend You Wouldn’t Want To Try

From Koala Challenge, which made people climb their partners like a koala to the Microwave Challenge, where people rotated like a microwave plate, the craze for bizarre challenges refuses to cease!

The latest addition to the list of dangerous internet challenges is the ‘Bin Bag Challenge’ or the ‘Trash Bag Challenge’ that is sweeping social media off late. The challenge requires a person to climb inside a plastic bin bag, a vacuum cleaner is then used to suck out the air inside the bag making it stick tightly to the body.

Basically, the challenge makes you vacuum pack a person’s body inside a plastic bag! It leaves the person wrapped inside the bag breathless and suffocated.

Several videos of people, mostly teenagers taking up the risky challenge are going viral on social media.

The challenge is turning out to be dangerous for many participants. Incidences of children left motionless on the floor for hours after performing the challenge until parents came to rescue are being reported. The tight plastic wrapped around the body can even choke a person to death if not removed in time.

The unusual and risky challenge has received a mixed response from Twitter. While some found it moronic, a few said it was fun.

Irrespective of what the internet thinks, we would, however, advise you to not try this at all. Because stupidity doesn’t pay.
