If there’s one thing that unites all Bengaluru residents, it’s their shared struggle with traffic. The city’s infamous jams are so bad that you could start a movie on Netflix, finish it, and still not move an inch. You can order food or even peel peas on the way home. There’s ample time! However, it is not very ideal for people on their way to work.
Pathik, a Bengaluru resident, had to reach office but no Ola or Uber was available. That’s when he had a lightbulb moment – if he couldn’t book a ride, he’d book himself! Instead of waiting endlessly, he turned to Porter, an app meant for transporting goods, and ended up “portering” himself to work on a two-wheeler.
had to porter myself to office today cuz no ola uber 🙁 pic.twitter.com/pzLHoTG2QF

People online were amazed by this idea.Calling him a “genius”, they said that they would ‘porter’ themselves too from the next time they’re unable to find a ride!

Bengaluru’s traffic might be unbeatable, but its residents? Absolute innovators!
