With auto fares often shooting through the roof, especially during peak hours or bad weather, finding a ride that doesn’t burn a hole in your pocket feels like winning the lottery.
But recently, a Bengaluru resident had a refreshing experience that restored a little faith in the system. He took to Reddit to share a heartwarming story about an autorickshaw driver who charged him exactly by the meter – no extra demands, no overcharging.
The man posted a photo showing the meter fare – Rs 166 for an 11-km trip. Along with it, he wrote, “Good auto drivers still exist in Bengaluru!”
