If you have watched Kahaani, you would know that Sujoy Ghosh is one to keep you on the edge of your seat throughout the movie. And the man is back again with another nerve-racking, goosebumps-giving story.
Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu starrer Balda has hit the theatres today and film-buffs cannot stop talking about it!

The trailer had us all glued to the screen thinking “what’s gonna happen?”, “who did it?”, and “what’s next?”, and it didn’t look like one to disappoint!
A murder was hinted at the beginning of the trailer. Taapsee Pannu, who plays an entrepreneur by profession, is arrested after she was found in a hotel room locked with the dead body of her lover.

Amitabh Bachchan aka Badal Gupta plays quite the well-reputed badass lawyer (remember Pink?) who hasn’t lost a case in 40 years and is to solve the captivating murder mystery.
What comes next is a series of snippets from various scenes throughout the movie like a collage and it’s difficult to grasp at any hints as to what might happen.
Here’s a look:
So if you’re sold by the trailer then lucky you!
But if you are confused whether the movie lives up to Sujoy Ghosh’s previous Kahaani fame, here are 15 tweets to help you make up your mind!

A few movie-buffs interestingly pointed out that Badla is a remake of the Spanish movie The Invisible Guest.
A BAD adaptation day. The first 3 letters in the title is nothing but a hidden warning to its audience! Watch THE INVISIBLE GUEST instead on Netflix. #Badla

A free but good advice to quality movie lovers(yes, not masala movie lovers) – Please watch the Spanish movie "The Invisible Guest" before the bad Hindi remake of it "Badla" ruins it for you… https://t.co/M90LsVuEmH

Invisible guest was quite ordinary. Not sure what that portends for Badla. ?

One mistake in writing will leave many loose ends. If there’s another issue with the directing and dialogues, this could easily be that cheesy Bollywood mystery films which won’t be that great. Hopefully it’s adapted well by @sujoy_g
