After launching Patanjali Atta Noodles recently, Baba Ramdev announced that he’s planning to launch a clothing line called ‘Vastram’ which would primarily be sports and yoga wear.
Patanjali might be the biggest crowd funded startup which has spawned into a cult brand. #BabaNeedsNoVChttps://t.co/bqRTOKDQYs

He says the MNCs have fooled Indian consumers for far too long and promoting Ayurveda seems to be the stronghold of his argument. He claims that the clothes manufactured by Patanjali will be made purely of khadi and will be available in stores at very affordable prices.
He also plans to launch Powervita against health drink brands like Horlicks and Bournvita
The spiritual guru along with his existing health products, will launch health drinks and beauty products. An oil-free variant of Patanjali Atta Noodle is about to come out soon too.
And people seem pretty excited about it!

Ramdev Baba’s Patanjali life products line is already quite popular with a 150% growth already. His game plan seems to be, making simple products that cost less than similar and popular products already in the market.

To experts, this seems to be an excellent branding strategy as it goes back to basics. It’s unsophisticated and straight to the point.
