Ayushmann Khurrana’s Mom Schools Him About His Wet-Hair Look Says ‘Bimaar Pad Sakte Ho’

Every Indian mother has ‘desi nushkes’ that she pushes upon her children. And I am pretty sure none of us can escape the clutches of our moms ‘gharealu nushkes’. Not even Bollywood star Ayushmann Khurrana.

The actor, who is riding high after the success of Bala, often shares thought-provoking shayaris online. However, on a lighter and personal note, he recently shared his mother’s funny reaction to his new look, reports Hindustan Times.

Sardi mein baal geele rakhne se bimaar padh sakte ho. Yeh Maa kehti thi bachpan mein, jab main Chandigarh rehta tha. She said exactly the same thing when she saw this picture. Maine kaha “Maa Mumbai mein thand nahi padti.”

According to NDTV, Ayushmann’s sleek, gelled, brushed-back hair, for a photo shoot might have prompted this savage response from his mother. However, the reply is hilariously relatable. Every Indian mother has said this to her child at least once, “Sardi mein baal geele rakhne se bimaar padh sakte ho.” ( If you keep your hair wet during winter you might fall sick), haven’t they? However, Ayushmann was quick to reply that Mumbai doesn’t experience winter.
