23-year-old Neeraj Chopra is the son of a farmer from Haryana and had taken up athletics only to shed flab on his body. And was his first-ever Olympics performance and he has already secured a place in the finals!
According to The Hindu, Neeraj Chopra qualified for the final of the javelin throw event at the Tokyo Olympic with a stunning first attempt of 86.65m. The final round is to be held on Saturday. Have a look at today’s throw here:
